Biological, mineral waste-derived latex fillers

Latex products can be compounded with fillers that can serve either as inexpensive diluents of the more expensive polymer phase or reinforcing fillers to improve the physical properties of the product. We are investigating the performance of dipped films in which we have incorporated different loadings of macro, micro and nano fillers made from food and agricultural processing wastes.
