More and more, companies are looking for ways to mitigate the increasing costs and short supply of many polymers. Fillers are one tool that can allow a company to decrease costs while increasing the physical properties of the end-product. These materials are not simply diluents that take up space; today's fillers often provide a functional benefit that contributes to the processability or utility of the compounded product.
