This paper gives an overview on effective processing of superior quality accessories for the High Voltage Industries. In this time, the total energy market is growing 15%. This requires an increased demand on high quality, easy and flexible to process accessories like cable joints, cable terminations, insulators, surge arrestors and switch gear adapters. For years now, there has been a growing tendency for these innovative materials to replace ceramic materials, such as porcelain and glass, in the field of medium and high voltage technology. This paper gives an overview on the new developed and established production methods for this special industry. Extra developed Liquid Silicone Rubbers with new processing technologies renders high quality, economic processing and flexibility possible.
